Depo Privacy Policy

Depo is a budgeting app made by Sergey Kaplichnyi (“we,” “us,” or “Depo”).

The short version

Depo does not ask you to create an account. We do not connect to your bank. We do not sell your personal information. Your budget data stays on your device.

Information you enter

Depo lets you enter budgeting information, such as income, spending, savings goals, account balances, categories, and notes.

This information is stored locally on your device. We do not receive it, read it, or use it.

Purchases

If you purchase Depo+, payment is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment-card information.

Apple may provide us with limited purchase information needed to confirm your subscription status, such as whether Depo+ is active. Apple’s handling of payment information is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.

Information you send us

If you email us at depo@kaplich.me, we receive the information you include in your message, such as your email address and support request. We use it only to respond to you and support Depo.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

Depo does not use advertising trackers. We do not sell data. We do not use your budget data for advertising. Depo does not use third-party analytics or crash-reporting tools.

Data retention

Budget information stored on your device remains there until you delete it, delete the app, or otherwise remove it through your device settings.

Support emails are kept only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, maintain support records, or meet legal obligations.

Your choices

You can delete local Depo data using the data-reset or deletion controls in the app, if available, or by deleting the app from your device.

You can export your data through Depo’s export feature, where available.

Children

Depo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this Privacy Policy, we will post the updated version here and change the effective date above. If a change materially affects how we handle information, we will provide additional notice where appropriate.
